Getting to know me

Shall we find your harmony?

Rachel Dziuba, intercultural strategist

Diapason International was created to turn every transition into an opportunity to build together, so that change is no longer a solitary ordeal, but a harmony we create side by side.

Let's talk about you

Between languages and cultures

Growing up in a multilingual, multicultural family, I developed early on a natural feel for otherness and for human dynamics.

02

From international relations to HR

By way of teaching French as a foreign language and sociolinguistics.

One constant question: what happens when people from different backgrounds have to move forward together?

03

Expatriation, lived

Four years in Vietnam, then assignments in India. On one side, family life to reorganise and my own project to build. On the other, day-to-day work in multicultural teams.

…then supported

Today, in Belgium and around the world, I support international talent going through the same transition, and international teams learning to work together.

Where languages and cultures meet

Beyond my professional path, I was shaped where languages, cultures and human relationships meet. Immersed from an early age, within my family, in a mix of languages and cultures, I developed a curiosity for others and a closeness to what comes from elsewhere.

From international relations to human resources, from teaching French to sociolinguistics, one thread has guided me ever since: understanding what is at play when people from different backgrounds have to move forward together.

Expatriation, from both sides

My experience in HR and in intercultural systemic approaches helps me analyse integration dynamics in depth, but it is above all real life that has shaped me. I have lived expatriation from both sides: first as an expatriate, then as someone who supports others through it.

First as an expatriate: four years in Vietnam where, after organising life for the whole family, I built my own personal and professional project. I taught French and francophone culture, learned Vietnamese, and fulfilled a lifelong dream: to discover and live otherness every day. Above all, that first experience gave me the travel bug. Other assignments followed, notably in India.

Then from the other side, in Belgium, supporting international talent going through the same transition.

Whatever the context, the challenge remains the same: to explore, invent and reinvent yourself in order to find your own harmony.

What experience has taught me

I have learned that expatriation is far more than a house move, that mastering a language goes well beyond grammar, and that working with international colleagues takes much more than knowing their cultural habits.

“You never integrate by making yourself invisible.”

A successful transition rests on self-knowledge, curiosity about others, and the confidence to claim your place.

How I work

Everyone has a voice. I help it to be heard.

Every person I work with has their own voice; my role is to help them make it heard in a new culture.

This human, demanding and down-to-earth approach is what I bring today through Diapason International. It is built on listening, reciprocity and co-creation, with an energy that respects each person's pace.

I support everyone who makes up the organisation:

My vision

When cultures meet, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

I am convinced that organisations that make room for everyone attract, integrate and retain the best talent, all over the world.

When every woman and man feels they belong to their team, differences do not disappear: they respond to one another and come into harmony, driving lasting performance and shared success.

I work towards a world of work where learning a language, moving abroad, welcoming a colleague from elsewhere or managing across borders becomes a source of fulfilment for people and a growth driver for organisations.

My mission

Turning the diversity of your teams into a source of belonging and performance.

As a partner to your strategy, in person or remotely, on one or several sites, in Belgium or abroad, I help your organisation ensure that every woman and man in it (international talent, local team, manager) feels they belong and can thrive.

Because when everyone feels part of the team, the richness of different profiles becomes a collective dynamic, both harmonious and effective.

My values

Five notes that set the tone.

Curiosity

Understand before supporting.

Read

Every encounter is a chance to learn. I approach every person, team and organisation without preconceptions, with a genuine wish to understand their reality, their codes and what drives them. This curiosity, nurtured by years of living abroad, by fieldwork and by research, is the starting point of any intercultural work: you cannot support others without first seeking to understand them.

Listening

Hearing what is said… and what is left unsaid.

Read

Deep attention to the uniqueness of each story. Because integration goes beyond technique, I support people in what matters most: their confidence, their self-image and the legitimacy they allow themselves in order to thrive. I listen to what is said, but also to what is left unsaid, because that is often where the gaps lie.

Reciprocity

Everyone learns from each other.

Read

In every intercultural encounter, each person learns from the other. You do not add one culture by erasing another. My approach rests on respect for who each person is and where they come from. I help everyone, international talent and local teams alike, to enrich their identity without denying it, and to recognise what the other brings. Integration is not one person's effort: it is a journey each side travels part of.

Co-creation

I support, I don't mould.

Read

Every solution is built with you, from your reality rather than an imposed framework. I bring the energy to move your projects forward, respecting everyone's pace, and I adapt my support to your priorities as well as the unexpected: an orchestra doesn't play every score at the same tempo.

Integrity

I say what I do. I do what I say.

Read

A commitment to reliability and honesty towards you and your people. Every assignment is built on a clear framework: shared objectives, a structured approach and regular check-ins to adjust the support and measure progress. Confidentiality is guaranteed, as an essential condition of trust. I say what I do and do what I say, without promising what does not depend on me. Ongoing monitoring and professional development, informed by fieldwork and research, keep my interventions relevant.

A dedicated point of contact

I am your single point of contact for you and your talent. I know your history, ensure continuity and coordinate everyone involved.

End-to-end expertise

Short- or medium-term assignment, or long-term expatriation: I adapt the intensity and pace of my support to your timeline to ensure successful integration and immediate performance.

Your HR team, freed up

Free your HR team from operational constraints so they can focus on people and close relationships. I handle the logistics, from advance preparation to day-to-day follow-up of the integration.

The family taken into account

Because that is often where the success of an expatriation is decided.

Gaps spotted early

Before a misunderstanding turns into a conflict, I identify differences in codes and expectations between the company, the talent, the family and the teams, and we put them on the table to build solutions together.

What you gain

Faster ramp-up Fewer costly mistakes Teams that benefit A secure HR investment Peace of mind

In detail

Faster ramp-up. Advance preparation shortens the adjustment period: the talent starts the job on familiar ground, not in a minefield.

Fewer costly mistakes. Cultural missteps are prevented before they cost you business, time or relationships.

Local and remote teams that benefit. Colleagues on site and international teams at a distance finally know how to work together: less friction, more cooperation, and trust that builds on both sides.

A secure HR investment. The talent stays, integrates and performs: your return on investment is protected.

Peace of mind. For the organisation and for the person being supported.
