Musical notes

The reality

Where does the wrong note come from?

Decisions agreed in a meeting and then applied differently on each site, silences on video calls that nobody dares interpret… A multicultural team, or one spread across several countries, brings together different ways of communicating, deciding, and handling time, hierarchy or disagreement. When these differences go unnamed, they become grains of sand that jam collective performance and drain motivation, without anyone really knowing where the wrong note comes from.

This friction is not inevitable. With the right support, it becomes an opportunity for the team to transform itself.

My approach

The reference everyone chooses to share.

Before every concert, the orchestra tunes to the A. It isn't one musician's note: it's the reference everyone chooses to share.

Team coaching doesn't bring ready-made solutions. It starts from the principle that the team has the resources within it to move forward. The coach creates a space where everyone can speak, helps the group put words to what is implicit and what stems from culture, and supports it towards its own decisions and its own rules for cooperation.

Active listening

To what is said and what is left unsaid, in the words and between the lines.

Raising awareness

Through questioning, reformulation and mirroring the team's dynamics.

Team growth

Turning insights into concrete commitments and lasting autonomy.

What it addresses

One or more issues defined with you, for example:

  • integrating an expatriate manager into their local team;
  • welcoming new members from other countries;
  • coordinating teams or units spread across several countries;
  • moving past recurring tensions or misunderstandings;
  • building a shared vision and common ways of working;
  • supporting a merger, a reorganisation or a change of management;
  • strengthening the team's collective leadership.

How it works

01

A scoping meeting with the sponsor, then a first session with the team

02

Regular group sessions focused on the goals set together

03

Progress reviews to measure change and adjust

04

A shared final review
